Okay, then. I have loosely related question here: The output code -- by which I mean, the source code you see when you visit a page and click "view source" in your browser -- is hard to read at the best of times, ...Continue Reading

I've now reinstated those functions in rev. 1.11 of admin_js.tmpl...but have marked (commented) them for deletion. Anyone who *does* need 'em in the meantime should *avoid* rev 1.10, and either move up or down ...Continue Reading

I would continue to have those in, since there are some plugins that still use that javascript function, even if it's not used in the main program. Although it's deprecated, there are still parts of Dada Mail outside of mail.cgi that may be using it; Same goes for, "$STYLE {default_submit}" and friends ...Continue Reading

.tmpl JavaScript changes

July 29th 2005 UTC

Here's a summary of the changes I made to the templates' JavaScript over the past week: 1)   Following Justin's request on the test layout page, I replaced all remaining instances of:   <a href="javascript:checklist(foo)">   with:   <label>   tags, removed the (now deprecated) "checklist" and "checkotherlist" functions from admin_js.tmpl and default_js.js, and re-edited test_layout_screen.tmpl to suit. 2)   I replaced all instances of: & ...Continue Reading

.tmpl code-formatting convention changes

July 29th 2005 UTC

Here's an "end-of-a-slow-work-week" update for you:   Inspired by the coding conventions doc Justin proposed, I've now done a once-over of all the template files in /dada/DADA/Template/templates/ to check their XHTML compliance. Had a nice little visit while I was there, too: made a couple of JavaScript tweaks along the way [which I'll summarize in a separate email], proofread some of the page content, and left behind a few comments for my next go-around.   At the same time, I also deci ...Continue Reading
