Of note is a nasty bug in the Bridge plugin that affected some messages that are sent to it. These messages would fail to be sent, and a line in your erro ...Continue Reading

It appears that many of the buttons on several pages in the admin interface do not respond when I click them or when they do respond it prompts me to reset my password. This is, of course, while I am already logged into the admin interface. And resetting the password doesn't work either. I am also noticing a fair number of orange messages throughout the UI that might be indicative of the issues we've been having. As I said, my cronjob runs every 5 minutes and has to send every message to ~200 members. These folks ...Continue Reading

Please disregard my last email. I had not removed the install directory. But now I cannot switch between lists using the list selector. It just does nothing. This is using Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.Sorry about the earlier goof-up.Regards,BruceOn 2022-10-25 1:23 pm, webmaster@PROTECTED wrote: Hi Justin,I'm finally updating to Dada 11.20.0 from 11.0. Hi Justin,I'm finally updating to Dada 11.20.0 from 11.0. I know you won't possibly be able to recall, but I have had nothing but failure trying to update past that version over the past several years. No idea why. We use Bridge exclusively for our lists, not the web interface. We've been having issues with many of our members not seeing their messages for hours or at all, and sometimes multiple times after a long time. Each of our 2 lists has membership of ~200. The cronjob runs every 5 minutes via curl. Let me know if ...Continue Reading

Howdy Everyone, v11.20.0 has been released! This is a BIG feature release and the BIG feature is the build script which allows any developer to create their own complete, working Dada Mail builds however and whenever you’d like. Hello everyone, the v11.20.0 beta has been released. This release comes with its own build script, and I invite you to build your own copy of the distribution using it!:https://github.com/justingit/dada-mail/releases/tag/v11_20_0_beta_2022-09-27This was quite the release, as it meant straightening out all the different packages used in Dada Mail, and making separate repos for everything to allow the build script to work! All this work nows anyone to fork the app and take it from there in any way they’d like, if it moves ...Continue Reading

Howdy everyone, So one of the longstanding problems with developing Dada Mail is that the current repo isn’t enough to actually run the code as a working app. Meaning: you can’t just download the source code from GitHub using whatever branch/tag/whatever and expect it to run. Other pieces of code are needed and you’ve needed me to create a beta release or something like that (which I rarely do anymore) I do have a build script of sorts that puts all the disparate parts together, and does a bit of housecleaning ...Continue Reading

From: patti@PROTECTED I have multiple forums/lists that my members subscribe to. Any time I get a new member, I have to manually subscribe them to each one. Yet – I can unsubscribe them from all easily. I was wondering if there is a way that I could subscribe someone to all the mailing lists at once (like the unsubscribe). Extra bonus if I could also set they way they want to receive their email too (digest or not) I think this is another lost feature, honestly (maybe v2?). It would be a lot more complicated to implem ...Continue Reading

From: kohenkatz@PROTECTED This feature has quite a lot of history: you had it in 2.x, removed it in 3.0, put it back in 3.1 alpha versions, but then (I think) didn't actually release it until 4.x. Ha! Yeah - and I think it was implemented in a plugin, maybe? The only thing I found was a brief statement about how in 4.x "preventing sending duplicate messages if an address is in multiple lists will work better than ever." I seem to recall you had a lot of trouble getting that to work properly, but I can't f ...Continue Reading
