Hi Justin,This is working well for my discussion lists, but I have an announce only list that uses bridge and there is no option to enable this for that list (it has several authorized senders with email addresses that are not on the domain). It may be because replies go to only the sender and not the whole list, or it may be because it's not a discussion list. I don't know, but is there any way to enable that feature for announce only lists that use Bridge? Warm regards, Mary Ann On Apr 8, 2014, at 10:23 PM, Justin J ...Continue Reading

Hello Everyone, v7 of Dada Mail is out the door. Hurray! Changelog: http://dadamailproject.com/support/documentation-7_0_0/changes_7_x.pod.html v6 -> v7 http://dadamailproject.com/support/documentation-7_0_0/changes_7_x.pod.html (change log with screenshots) http://dadamailproject.com/v7_0_0_landing.html Upgrades should be fairly… whatever the opposite of frustrating is; the changes to the SQL schemas are small, and should be handled automatically. Watch out for the note about the, "old style" te ...Continue Reading

Yeah, Yahoo just basically broke the Internet, http://www.itworld.com/security/413581/yahoo-email-anti-spoofing-policy-breaks-mailing-lists http://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/ietf/current/msg87153.html Hopefully, they'll figure out how foolish they are. You may want to think about using, "p.p. mode" in Bridge - came out around v6.8. It was initially put in, so that you could run a mailing list with Amazon SES - you need to authenticate all mail senders w/SES, which is unrealistic for a discussion ma ...Continue Reading

Hello, I am using Dadmail to run a small mailing list for a community orchestra. I am using the Bridge plugin so that all members can communicate quickly with the entire orchestra. This has been working well, but I recently ran into a problem that I am not sure how to solve. One of the subscribed members used his yahoo.com email address to send an email to the discussion list. The list had about 25 subscribers and the list admin (me) received bounce backs from all the subscribers with @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, @s ...Continue Reading

Hello everyone, v7.0.0 Beta 2 has landed - Download and Install: http://dadamailproject.com/support/documentation-7_0_0-beta2/install_dada_mail.pod.html along with a PDF version of the Dada Mail Manual - the manual can now be viewed online, as well as downloaded as a PDF book, rather than a collection of HTML files, which should help make it a lot more usable - hurray! PDF is available in the Pro Dada/Manual area: http://dadamailproject.com/pro_dada/ Things still need spit and polish, but it's looking, good! Yo ...Continue Reading

So far, I've not clicked the button because I don't know what will happen, what message might be sent, or where I will end up. If I could get an idea of what and where any message might be found and if there is any way to customize it, that would be helpful. Wow, that's interesting. Once you click the link ...Continue Reading
