Re: stuck mailings in Bridge

Sorry - I checked that but forgot to add the info. There was nothing in the error log or usage log to indicate a problem. And what's really weird is that in this particular instance, I didn't delete the mailing after 5 minutes like I usually do and after awhile, it went through (although it never did give anything other than 0% progress). That hasn't happened before, but I don't usually wait 30 minutes on the page with it refreshing itself.I'll definitely turn on the saving option for the mass mailing logs on that list ...Continue Reading

stuck mailings in Bridge

April 11th 2014 UTC

This has been happening regularly when a stack of messages go through at the same time. One of them will get stuck in the mailer and show 0% forever. Pausing and restarting doesn't help. The only thing that clears it is to stop the mailing and all the mailings in the queue after it (because each one does the same thing). Once it's cleared out, any new mailings seem to go through okay. The obvious problem is losing all of those mailings that had to be deleted. Ideas? Even better, not only did Yahoo "break the Internet", they apparently even broke their own Yahoo Groups service!Moshe --Moshe Katz-- moshe@PROTECTED-- +1(301)867-3732 On Tue, Apr 8, 2014 at 10:23 PM, Justin J <justin@PROTECTED> wrote: Yeah, Yahoo just basically broke the Internet,       http://www.itworld.com/security/413581/yahoo-email-anti-spoofing-policy-breaks-mailing-lists     http://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/ietf/current/msg87153.html Hopefully, they'll figure out ...Continue Reading

No, I'm not using SES. For my small lists it hasn't been necessary, and for my large lists, I have way too many subscribers to wait through their process of getting approved to send larger numbers of emails at one time. I should clarify that I know that I can change the announce only list to have the from address be the list owner, but I need it to say "on behalf of" with the actual sender and a reply-to of the actual sender. Hi Justin,This is working well for my discussion lists, but I have an announce only list that uses bridge and there is no option to enable this for that list (it has several authorized senders with email addresses that are not on the domain). It may be because replies go to only the sender and not the whole list, or it may be because it's not a discussion list. Hello Everyone, v7 of Dada Mail is out the door. Hurray!
