Dada Mail Version Eight!

January 6th 2015 UTC

Hi Everybody, So, last night, I started working on the next big major version of Dada Mail - v8!. I'm usually fairly conservative with my versioning, and only announce major versions when something huge gets changed. In this case I'm in the process of migrating Dada Mail to be CGI::Application-based. Right now, there's really no framework to speak of in Dada Mail! New Tracker Features

January 5th 2015 UTC

Hello everyone, Happy New Year! How's the new v7.4 workin' for ya? I've decided to start the New Year by giving the Tracker plugin a little love: * The chart on the default screen of the tracker can now be toggled between total number of thingies - opens, clickthroughs, bounces, etc and rate (percentage). The rate view basically normalizes the data shown by the amount of recipients that were sent each message. I've added a few more thingies in there, as well, like sending errors. * Individual mass mailing data ca ...Continue Reading

Re: v7.4.0 Released

December 19th 2014 UTC

Thanks. I am not a developer  but I think I am bewitched with php scripts. There is not any to do what I seek for and when I find one, it is not more available or missing something... I just want to create a small  list of discussion (no diffusion) for a small group (50 to 500) with ability to reply to every user writing or to all group. My users don't want to use a specialized website to do it.My server is a regular host Linux with php and mysql and mail().My host doesn't accept more multiple redirections o ...Continue Reading

These: > [Thu Dec 18 07:31:14 2014] mail.cgi: Cannot use 'Pragma: no-cache > [Thu Dec 18 07:31:14 2014] mail.cgi: Cache-control: no-cache, must-revalidate (Pragma, Cache-control) are just headers, mostly used when sending back JSON data - it doesn't have too much to do with creating a new list. What type of server setup are you trying to install Dada Mail on? ...Continue Reading

I'd like to instead get what I'm finishing up out there, for people to work with, and perhaps give back some feedback. Already with Beatitude, people want to send on schedules that aren't so uniform - they want: "Every weekday", or, "Monday/Wednesday/Friday", or even just, "Every Monday" and that's not somet ...Continue Reading
