Just some basic rich text and some layout control (using tables) would be enough for me. Images would be nice but you can't rely on them displaying. ...Continue Reading

That's why there's a need for an entirely separate build and authoring system just to design a simple HTML-formatted email message that will look pretty si ...Continue Reading

RE: Email Templating and Customization Enhancements for Dada Mail

Yes, it's time for HTML emails - clients that don't support it reasonably well are rare now. Personally I'm not interested in a "quick and dirty" beta solution though, I'd rather it was trialled and tested before being officially released. I haven't got time to go through a 12-step upgrade process on multiple sites only to have to re-do it all the next day, as has happened often in the past. ...Continue Reading

Email Templating and Customization Enhancements for Dada Mail

August 9th 2016 UTC

Howdy all - I'm considering adding support for HTML versions of all the emails Dada Mail sends out (subscription confirmation emails, etc) that don't yet support an HTML version - a lot of them are just PlainText. I was also considering doing this by using the Foundation for Email system: http://foundation.zurb.com/emails.html I'd like to bundle a few different ready-to-go themes with Dada Mail, so someone could easily pick the theme they want (or at the very least color they would like), and have good looking ...Continue Reading

Re: Can't save schedule step by step (was: New issue - subject line can't be edited)

I normally use Firefox but I tried it in Chrome after I had the problem and got the same result. I’m almost positive it’s a server issue since the other install on a different server (different host) responds normally in Firefox. I don’t have the faintest idea what on the server could be causing it though, so I don’t know what to do next. LiquidWeb is good about walking through things with me, but this is something where I wouldn’t even begin to know where to point them and they won’t troubleshoot a third party sc ...Continue Reading

It all worked perfectly for me - the scheduled data was saved, etc, so I wonder if it's a browser problem? What are you using? ...Continue Reading

And yet on the 2nd install on the same server as below, Clicking Save Schedule after sending a test message with the time and date chosen (Same exact process as previously described) *doesn’t* save the schedule. The only way to save it is to send another test. :/ Warm regards,Mary Ann* On Jul 25, 2016, at 2:48 PM, Mary Ann Kelley  [Dada Mail Developers] <dadadev@PROTECTED> wrote:Sending the test saved the schedule but clicking Save Schedule did not. Re: New issue - subject line can't be edited

Yeah, I had just upgraded when new releases came out. I’m running 9.2.0 Stable on all 3 installs. Since I have to upgrade 3 installs I was waiting until it seemed like there was a good reason to upgrade. I will do so as soon as I can carve out the time (just returned from being out of the office for 3 weeks so I’m trying to get caught up) and send the steps and error log results. The biggest problem with sending the steps is that I can’t even recreate my own problems on the site running on a different server - ...Continue Reading
