RE: V10 / Injecting CSS / Theming

October 20th 2016 PST

I've had a lot of trouble installing CSS::Inliner on a VPS running Ubuntu 16.04. It depends on a package called "Badger" that I just can't get to compile. Seems to be a known problem with no fix available yet. I've given up for now. ...Continue Reading

There's actually many shared servers that allow you to install CPAN modules, including ones that require compilation - most cPanel-based hosting companies have this option. One of them is Bluehost (http://bluehost.com). There must be one in Germany, that is cPanel-based! :) ...Continue Reading

ok. thanks for fast answer. I enabled the debug mode for CPAN and saw the log the messages you wrote about. "Problems with filter: Can't locate CSS/Inliner.pm in @INC (you may need to install the CSS::Inliner module)" I am currently at a shared hosting. CPAN module install is not possible. The inlining of CSS is done locally for every file in your theme, but the content of your message won't have inlined CSS in your HTML, unless you have the following CPAN module installed: CSS::Inliner This module requires compilation (and a bit of a dependency list), so it's not included in Dada Mail. If you install this module, it ...Continue Reading

V10 / Injecting CSS / Theming

October 19th 2016 PST

Hi Justin, today i built my own theme and uploaded the dist folder. Changed the theme in Dada Mail, so all works fine. A basic question: The process of injection the css is done local. Then i go and write the content "message_body" online and click send test. When the email comes there is all the css data injected in every html tag. Except the "message_body" looks like i entered, nothing injected... Am i doing something wrong or is this normal ? What is the best solution? Thanks for advice. Bes ...Continue Reading
