I'm betting it not working with SSL is a shortcoming of Dada Mail with its current SMTP library. The newer one will work much better,  and have a few more options. I'm pretty happy to get the SMTP engine upgraded.&nbs ...Continue Reading

Just as a followup, I set up my own sparkpost account, and tried to set up SMTP sending using the directions. In at least my development version, login worked fine, without any problems. Although you can use STARTTLS, it's not required. I used port 255, and left, "Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)" unchecked. If that doesn't work, it could just be an incompatibility with the old SMTP code Dada Mail has at the moment. The good news, it should be fixed in the net release, ...Continue Reading

It looks like they may want you to use STARTTLS, which isn't something that Dada Mail's SMTP currently supports. Perhaps you can try connecting to it via SSL on a secure port, which shouldn't require you to then upgrade via STARTTLS. I'm working on updating the SMTP support in Dada Mail. Hopefully, it'll be finished in v10.6.0. I can't tell exactly what the problem is, with your specific situation though, as the errors reported are a little too thin on the details, ...Continue Reading

Yes. Via SMTP is pretty straighforward: https://www.sparkpost.com/docs/getting-started/getting-started-sparkpost/#sending-email I have generated muy API key. I can generate another one for you to pursue (you should use my domain or I can "add" a domain of yours, but you'll have to put a DKIM record on your DNS). --Mariano Absatz - El Babywww.clueless.com.ar On 3 July 2017 at 14:10, Justin J justin@PROTECTED [Dada Mail Developers] <dadadev@PROTECTED> wrote: > On Jul 3, 2017, at 10:30 AM, M ...Continue Reading
