This is exactly right...and as far as the element is concerned anyway, the source order of your two stylesheets now makes no difference. After all, there is now only one stylesheet (yours) with a rule that applies to the "id-less" body. > That's sort of what ...Continue Reading

First off: thank you to Manfred, Bruce and Justin for the initial wealth of screenshots, descriptions, and offers of testing assistance for this IE5/Mac bug. As I mentioned earlier, I'm Mac-less myself, so this sort of teamwork is great to have available and is much appreciated!   To review: here's the problem, which is IE5/Mac-specific: http://a-ok.net/dadadev/2.10beta1-IE5Mac_positioningtest.htm   Essentially, the header aligns to the left, rather than being centered like the content below it. The page comes always individually skazat-design styled, not dada-styled. I did not yet install 2.10b but can give feedback from the view of Ap ...Continue Reading

But I can probably do this blind.   To do that, we'll have to separate the IE5/Mac list-template centering problem from both the "body/body#Dada" change Justin recently made, and also from any other "intermingled" site's stylesheets that may be affecting the problem.   So here's a test page that does just tha ...Continue Reading

IE 5/Mac Template Breakage/body{} q's

September 1st 2005 PST

Hey, Just a heads up - The top/red header on the list screens doesn't float to the center in IE 5/Mac - it just sticks to the left. Has anyone else seen this? I'm not sure if Shane has access to a Mac to check this out. but (Shane) is there anything you can think of that'll stand out? Also, I noticed the body styles look like this: [snip] body { margin:50px 0; padding:0; text-align:center; /* page centering hack for IE */ font-family:Georgia,Times,'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:13 ...Continue Reading
