Oooops - here is the correction to my typo - below link works ! I am testing on Mac OS9.2.2 with MSIE 5.1.7 Testfices 1, 2, and 3 do not change the misplacement. Testfix 3a does the trick: http://a-ok.net/dadadev/2.10b1-IE5Mac_positioning_testfix3a.html renders perfect. Testfixes 3a, 4 and 4a are all rendering as desired, either can be used. The rendering is not related to the Mac OS version, it is only a MSIE .. ..how does MS call bugs? .. ah, features ! Here is a pic of what I see with 3a, 4 and 4a: http://www. ...Continue Reading

Test 3 and 4 work well for me, although now when looking at the beta (and your fix), I'm seeing the amount of space on the right of the, ":: Sign Up for a List ::" copy is *more* in Moz, than it is in IE. I'm looking at the default screen. This extra space I'm seeing is different than the 2.9 series, where the space left of, ".: Dada Mail" was a similar size to the right space of, " :: Sign Up for a List ::" What's strange is that this extra space only comes into affect after ...Continue Reading

This is exactly right...and as far as the element is concerned anyway, the source order of your two stylesheets now makes no difference. After all, there is now only one stylesheet (yours) with a rule that applies to the "id-less" body. > That's sort of what ...Continue Reading

Re: [dadadev] Re: IE 5/Mac Template Breakage/body{} q's P.S. - I gave you the long-form questionnaire with that first round of testfixes, but don't feel you need to follow it! A simple "nope, all are still buggered" or somesuch will do just as well. :-) ...Continue Reading

First off: thank you to Manfred, Bruce and Justin for the initial wealth of screenshots, descriptions, and offers of testing assistance for this IE5/Mac bug. As I mentioned earlier, I'm Mac-less myself, so this sort of teamwork is great to have available and is much appreciated! To review: here's the problem, which is IE5/Mac-specific: http://a-ok.net/dadadev/2.10beta1-IE5Mac_positioningtest.htm Essentially, the header aligns to the left, rather than being centered like the content below it.
