Fine, but if you have thousands of installs of Dada Mail, that all have a couple of lists with thousands of subscribers, the chances that some of them are using IE 5/Mac are rather large. Justin Simoni ...Continue Reading

I vote that we wrap things up, like yesterday, because I'm shipping an RC tomorrow. I think we should see if we can't get a good fix for the IE5/Mac bug, and then say, "done", because that's the only thing I bro ...Continue Reading

Regarding the checkbox & radio-button borders that still appear in many browsers... I vote for adding customizable classes to the checkbox and radio elements...*whether or not* we then use those classes to fix the currently styled input borders, or remove the border styling altogether (and let all input types revert to their browser defaults). My reason is simple: I'd like the freedom to customize those different input types built-in to the program, rather than having to change thirty different template files mys ...Continue Reading

Re: RC1 pushed to Tuesday - RFC on cute name for dada_bridge.pl?

>Mystery Girl is the Bounce Handler (dada_bounce_handler.pl) >Beatitude is the mail scheduler (scheduled_mailings.pl) >???? is the discussion list plugin (dada_bridge.pl) How about Nepomuk ? Nepomuk is the patron saint of the bridges, and he was a man on the contrary to wisdom girl and beautitude. In case you don't like saints and rather stay with ideals ... then I'd choose WISDOM (would be good for discussions) - but I prefer nepomuk :-) ...Continue Reading

*Remove the border styling from/ all/ input types.* If we remove all border rules from the input{} rule set,/ all/ <input> types -- checkboxes, radio buttons, and text fields alike -- will be displayed using their browser defaults. My vote for this solution, because: - browser defaults are what visitors are used to see on the browser they use every day. - it is important that basic internet interface elements stay the same to build and keep trust - input fields would anyway always have a border won't they? - bo ...Continue Reading
