It would be - I agree - it also would be a good side project, but for someone else :) I could see a SOAP or JSON interface created in about a days time (any takers to hire me?) - the Perl code would be pretty simple. Justin, Am using the flash xml function with mambo / joomla here: I think I sent you the php for this a while ago (attached), but I can't say its all that pretty. FYI, they've been using dada since 2001-ish. Reckon you're owed a holiday. It would be very good to have a few more functions to use other than just subscribe / unsubscribe. An 'am I subscribed or not' function would be first on my list, second an api for outputting the lists of lists within dada. H Dada Mail (Justin Simoni) wrote: > > Is anyone ...Continue Reading

Hey! Look at that - the list settings part of Dada Mail now has an SQL backend - that means all the major parts of Dada Mail that have to do with saving information - List Subscribers, Archives and Settings are all SQL-centric if you'd like. This should be good for a few different folks: * People that prefer an SQL backend to the dbfile solution * People that are having trouble with the db backend * ...Continue Reading

Våre norske tegn bør æres should actually read like Vre norske tegn br br res (repeated displayed as pic) The whole thing results froom the different character settings between Mac and Windoze. I found two notes on that (which I didn't dig in thouroughly though) http://www.issociate.de/board/post/312360/HTML::Entities_and_WinLatin1_NCRs_%5BPATCH%5D.html and also http://72.14.207.104/search?q=cache:ipL7-WF9KQAJ:perlcabal.org/~autrijus/darcs/pugs/ext/HTML-Entities/t/entities.t+V%C3%A5re+norske+te ...Continue Reading

No problems here on my install. I was testing a few things, but that was one of them. That *was* actually what I typed in - I was using an example from: http://search.cpan.org/~gaas/HTML-Parser-3.50/lib/HTML/Entities.pm Something like: [snip] #!/usr/bin/perl use HTML::Entities; $a = "Våre norske tegn bør ær ...Continue Reading
