Re: support site down :(

March 21st 2006 PDT

Hi Justin, Sorry about the problems with your hosting service, that's the last thing you should have to worry about, especially as Dada Mail increases in popularity. In the spirit of helping out someone who has helped so many others, here is some info on a hosting service you might want to consider: Check out MediaTemple.net "(mt)" (http://www.mediatemple.net/), an outstanding "professional class" hosting service based in California. This particular hosting company is very "creative friendly, ...Continue Reading

Dada Mail 2.10.7 released - support site down :(

March 20th 2006 PDT

Hey everyone - here's the announcement about the 2.10.7 release I promised for Monday - The support site is currently down, as it's gone over its bandwidth - I guess it's time to *really* look for a new host. I'm most likely going to go with http://textdrive and I may, *may* set up a mirror at Sourceforge for some of the easier things; Sorry about the downtime, it'll reset itself early *wednesday* - my quota is a 1gig/week, which isn't too too restrictive, the site just gets very popular when a new vers ...Continue Reading

2.10.7 stable released on Monday

March 17th 2006 PDT

This is a heads up to tell you the 2.10.7 stable release will be next Monday - I was going to do a bit more work in re: adding new features, but there's some bugs that are in 2.10.6 that are fixed in 2.10.7 and really should be available. Currently, the distro seems pretty stable and I have it running on many of my own sites with barely a whimper from it. So, it's good to go. As I stated before, there will also be a new revision of the Magicbook - most likely only containing new versions of some plugins/ ...Continue Reading

RE: Dada Mail, 2.10.7 alpha 2 has been released

> Transition to MySQL went smoothly, sofar al seems OK... Sweet! and yeah, the table for the settings is pretty simple :) I'm running this for the mojo.skazat.com Dada Mail (the one this list is on) and it seems to be doing alright. The amount of code that's different the DB File backend and the SQL backend is surprisingly small; I was able to share the code for both of them, save for about 2 methods - which is awesome. > In Config.pm you are still able to enable the archive editor > although it ...Continue Reading
