Are you running Dada Mail with the, "-f" flag? These errors aren't specific to Apache 2, if anything, they're specific to the version of Perl you're running (the verbiage, anyways). I know you like to let me know about these same types of errors every few months and I tell you the same thing - they're warnings. I've looked at them and I'm not too concerned. You can stop them from coming up by not running Dada Mail with the, "-f" flag - which is how Dada Mail is shipped. ...Continue Reading

Hello Justin, I am running DADA-2.10.8 on a FreeBSD 6.1 server with Perl 5.8.8. and Apache 2.2.2 installed. The new version of Apache is not as forgiving as the older versions were. The following error log example is from just a simple log in / log out of DADA using a MySQL backend. I have done some Googling regarding the 'Variable' error messages.
