Hey everyone, pardon this dust, I've been working more on the auto-pickup stuff and it's really gotten far now - no longer is it put together with scotch tape and a wish, it now has some legs to stand up on. I'm sending this from the list control panel as just a final test before I package it up and release a new alpha. This new alpha also syncs up all the changes made in the 2.10.10 branch to this alpha version - I think I merged the 2.10.10 branch at about rc1, so there's a few more improvements in the alpha. ...Continue Reading

I swithced the pop server setting to localhost and than it can connect, but when sending manual it seems to work OK, but the messages never show up anywhere although they are removed from the pop box. Checked the rrorlogs again, apparently it suddenly can't connect to the mailserver anymore to check the inboxes and redistribute the mail... I haven't changed anything in the setup.. Checking mail through outlook shows several messages. Trying the manual function of dadabridge and it tells me it can't connect.. Any suggestions ? No, there's no SQL2Db scripts, moving to SQL is sort of a one way route. If you can, see if your host has an actual limit on the number of connections. ...Continue Reading

I'm always using the latest ;-) Is it easy to revert back to using db or text to see if the problem lies in the MySQL setup ? Justin, this is getting worse and worse... now dada is unsusbcribing me *every* day... I'm enclosing the 4 unsubscription messages I got complete with headers for you to watch... Other thing... when I re-subscribe (via the web form), I get not one, but *three* identical messages... I tried to subscribe from another address and the same thing happens... What I'm thinking is that the uniqness of the pin is probably too weak... it is always the same for the same address (even the same for subscribe/unsubscribe)... maybe ...Continue Reading
