Hi, This is a good program to manage a list in expansion from a website but it gives me problem when I want to submit an existent list from my filetree. I pick up the file, push the submit button features and then I have to wait long time even for lists that are small (5000 address i.e., note that we handle carefully all the anti-spam rules). Then when finally it happens that he slurped the file he gives me a blank page with no results at all. Have you noticed bug like this? Bye. Davide B. PLEASE NOTE: The informat ...Continue Reading

Thanks Alfred. I've been trying to figure out how to get better quality assurance - it starts to become almost impossible with some sort of tool to help, once a program gets a bit big - and Dada got that way years ago. As a life-saver, I've been using the Test'ing CPAN modules, which are a god-send. Currently, every-time I make a new distribution, tests on the code are performed. At the moment there are almost 400 tests done. Here's what gets outputted: Justins-Computer:/Library/WebServer/CGI-Executables ...Continue Reading

No questions... With every new release the functionality is getting better and it still runs smooth as a baby's bottom.... Keep up the good work. I posted the start of the cookbook to work with list settings: http://mojo.skazat.com/support/documentation/COOKBOOK- list_settings.pod.html The Dada Mail API for this sort of stuff is pretty easy. Hopefully it looks like it, too :) I also just finished some work in Dada Mail to stop importing all the Config variables into the namespace of whatever uses it. This was pretty bad form, so I finally put a stop to this. The advantage to this is it may make the program a little faster and little slimmer memory ...Continue Reading

Hey everyone, Quick note, Just committed some changes to allow the Beatitude schedules to have the same auto-backup features that the settings and archives have enjoyed. Should help someone, somewhere. Pretty hairy getting that in place. Also, the next release of the 2.11 alpha will have a whole slew of changes - one nice change is the ability to turn on a lot more debugging flags easily, so if some weird things are happening, you may get more help in figuring out why. Currently, it's much easier to se ...Continue Reading

I've been working pretty hard on the auto-pickup feature in Dada Mail. It's basically ready for the Real World, having been rewritten a few times already. One of the neater things is a new big red button that looks like this:The button itself will allow you to stop a mailing in its tracks, if that's something that needs to be done. The rest of the functionality now has a test suite attached to it, that helps in making sure what it's supposed to do, is what it actually does and that any changes I've made don't break so ...Continue Reading
