SSL Support

January 11th 2007 PST

Hello.I would like to use Dada with an smtp server that uses SSL.  I do not have the IO::Socket::SSL module installed and I have no idea how to go about installing it or even if I can install it at all.Is there a way that I can use the SSL module without installing it? Justin, why is it that the SSL module cannot be bundled in with the program?-- ------------------------------Moshe KatzKatzNet Computers-- kohenkatz@PROTECTED -- moshe@PROTECTED-- kohenkatz@PROTECTED-- moshekatz@PROTECTED -- webmaster: www.ma-tov.co ...Continue Reading

Keeping up with security patches is the only thing I've ever seen in the short time I had phpBB set up, but it is certainly better than yaBB.On 11 Jan 2007 01:30:49 -0000, Dada Mail (Justin Simoni)* <dada@PROTECTED> wrote: I'm going to probably change up the Support Boards software from YaBBto most likely phpBB. Support Board Software Change

January 10th 2007 PST

I'm going to probably change up the Support Boards software from YaBB to most likely phpBB. Unless there's any protests :) I'll probably doing this pretty soon. What I like about phpBB is that it runs off of a Postgres backend - I don't have access to MySQL at the moment. One of the horrid things about YaBB is that the database is based on a flat file system and every couple weeks, that hiccups and the boards get corrupted, which I hate. Any last minute vetos? :) ...Continue Reading

Little Update

January 10th 2007 PST

Hey everyone, My computer just experience a hard drive failure, so I'm currently re- setting everything up. Dada Mail of course is on a completely different server and it's totally safe, but some of my previous contacts, emails, etc are pretty much gone. * If I seem to be experiencing some amnesia on an issue - I blame that ;) * If I have fallen on the wayside of any business communication, please get in touch with me via email, so we can pick up the thread. Thanks everyone! ...Continue Reading
