I believe it depends on your host. If you have shared hosting, as I do, then email1@PROTECTED is the same as email1@PROTECTED, unless your host allows otherwise. I'm not sure that Dada could know anything about this. I've been getting a few mysterious reports of users who have had trouble getting SMTP authentication to work correctly. It seems to be stemming from the SMTP authentication scheme, either: * The SMTP server advertises that it supports an authentication scheme that it does not - or- * Dada Mail attempts an authentication scheme either it can't support or, the SMTP server does not advertise as supportingOr... something similar. It's very gremlin-like.So, to shed some light to this problem and to give more flexibility, ...Continue Reading

Hello, I have installed Postfix + Mysql + Virtual users and domains in my mailserver I have some virtual domains in my postfix and I don’t know if is possible to have some lists like: list1@domain1, list1@domain2, list1@domain3 with dada. Is possible to implement this feature? Thanks for all. Justin, Sorry to hear about the crash. Those always suck. We were talking about a bug with the Send an Archive link whereby using a url with an anchor was causing the form to fail to be processed[1]. My thoughts are that you are using that url somewhere in the codebase and not expecting it to have an anchor. I'm just not familiar enough with the code to track it through. so will this new moderation system be implemented? On 23 Dec 2006 05:12:55 -0000, Dada Mail (Justin Simoni)* <dada@PROTECTED > wrote: Hello all, I know that some people were surprised at the change in the moderation system. Honestly, I had no idea how many people were using the old moderation system - I don't get as much feedback on Dada Mail that I would like, so it's sort of like feeling my way in the dark when it comes to features and what I should add/work on/remove. Hello.I would like to use Dada with an smtp server that uses SSL. I do not have the IO::Socket::SSL module installed and I have no idea how to go about installing it or even if I can install it at all.Is there a way that I can use the SSL module without installing it? If you have a different board that you would like to use except for the problem that you don't have sql, I may be able to give you access to a portion of my sql database and you can use it.
