Dustin, I'm certainly no Perl developer, but I've seen my share of 500 errors. The problem could be just about anything. However, I have found that the three most likely causes with Dada Mail (which has been pretty extensively tested) are: a. The file is not executable b. The file is not in Unix format c. The file has gotten corrupted or is missing The file in question here is DADA/perllib/MIME/Lite.pm. Make sure both it and the directory containing it are executable and make sure that the file itself is not in DOS ...Continue Reading

When trying to send a web page as html, I am getting the following error:Program Error (Server Error 500)More information about this error may be available in the server error log and/or program error log. Can't call method "replace" on an undefined value at DADA/perllib/MIME/Lite/HTML.pm line 475.It was working a day or two ago, and something broke. Upon seeing this, I decided to reinstall the latest version of DADA Mail, and copied over my Config.pm from 2.10.14 to 2.10.15, and also kept my mysql tab ...Continue Reading

I'm using the scheduled mailing plugin to mail a webpage automatically everyday at 4 a.m. I just noticed (based on newsletter subscribers feedback) that the unsubscribe information is not being appended to the bottom of the email. If I send the email through the "Send a webpage" link on the admin page, it appends the unsubscribe info on the bottom, but not if I use the scheduled mailing plugin. Can this be fixed? I now have three newsletters going out, and this particular scheduled one goes ...Continue Reading

Hi Justin, I know you're leaving this weekend, don't worry about this, but I just discovered a small bug and send this only to document it. Anyway, in 2.10.14 (stable) when the subscriber_help page is generated, the internal links (for the different mail addresses) instead of pointing to the same page, they point to the mail.cgi, so they don't work. That is, in http://dadalists.example.org/mail.cgi/subscriber_help/mylist/ the link that says "Gmail users", points to http://dadalists.example.org/mail.cgi#gmai ...Continue Reading
