How can I delete one of the DADAMAIL links on my footnote below my email flyer? I added "unsubscribe" code to my flyer and it has a DADAMAIL link in it. That means the DADAMAIL link from the "template" (not sure if this what I should call it) is not needed. The html in MANAGE MESSAGE - EMAIL MESSAGE does not give me that part of the code to change.I look forward to your response. I do like the Dada Mailer but just get familiarized with it.Thank you,GinaOwner and Manager of t ...Continue Reading

Well, login (except for making a new list, so let's remove that variable) is handled via a cookie. Usually, if this cookie can't be set, you can't login. It *usually* something to do with a firewall somewhere, and that's about it. The only thing you'd want to really tweak is the, "$SESSION_DB_TYPE&qu ...Continue Reading

I found today that I am unable to log in to my DadaMail installation, either for list admin or list creation, and what seems like normal remedies have failed. When my list admin password was rejected, I used the "mail a new password" link. I got the email, clicked the link in it, and got a second email with a randomly-generated password. When I tried to log in with it, that password was rejected (I copied and pasted it to make sure it was right). I tried a couple more times, with the same result. I then ...Continue Reading

uredI fig out the root of the problem but I don't know how to fix it. The problem is that I am using a Content Management System that was built by a friend of mine which uses apache .htaccess files. The url rewriting in these directives causes the AJAX not to submit correctly. I cannot figure out why though. If anyone has experience embeding AJAX into a page on a site with .htaccess, please help me. There isn't - no, not yet. There's no way currently, since you'd have to have some sort of a login/session system and for a subscriber, there's isn't yet, so one has to be made. If you'd want to do that, you probably want to save a password for the subscriber. Saving a ...Continue Reading

Hi Justin, I was thinking: Is there a way for those who have subscribed to modify there data? For example when somebody has moved to an other house, it would be nice when they can change their address. Maybe we could use the standard form and ad an extra radiobutton for changing data. And after a confirmation email they have modified their own data. -- Joost Gunneman Op 10-jan-2008, om 6:36 heeft Dada Mail (Justin Simoni) het volgende geschreven: > > Heya everyone, > > Has anyone tried out the ne ...Continue Reading

Screenshots are here: http://list.ma-tov.com/screenshots I tested with IE7, FF3beta2, and FF2.0.0.11. There is only a before screenshot from IE because it looks exactly the same in all the tested browsers. FF2 and 3 also look the same in the after. - Moshe On Jan 11, 2008 6:33 AM, Dada Mail <dada@PROTECTED> wrote: > On Jan 10, 2008, at 9:24 PM, Moshe Katz wrote:> One problem that I have is that I set a default listI'm thinkin' the $Default_List stuff hasn't been re-implemented ;) I'll ad ...Continue Reading

I am trying to use the ajax subscription form in my PHP page. I am including it using "system('/home2/username/public_html/cgi-bin/extensions/ajax_include_subscribe.cgi');". I had to define the absolute paths to DADA and perllib in order to do this. I am using the new alpha. One problem that I have is that I set a default list but it still shows the list selection box, only now with one list in it. Another, major, problem that I have is that for some reason I cannot figure out, when I sub ...Continue Reading
