Hi Justin, Thanks for the info about the Config.pm defaults. That sounds exactly like what I would use to create new lists with he settings the way I want my new lists to look. Sorry for being obtuse but I don't see any $LIST_SETUP_DEFAULTS variable or $LIST_SETUP_INCLUDE in my Config.pm, nor are they mentioned in any file in my entire Dadamail installation nor are they mentioned in the Config_pm.html manual. The default list settings are saved in the Config.pm file in the variable, $LIST_SETUP_DEFAULTS. You can either change them there, or, in the $LIST_SETUP_INCLUDE variable, either right in the Config.pm file, or, in your outside config file (.dada_config). If you have your list configuration setup to use a database such as MySQL, you can use a query to make a copy of every record in the dada_settings table, substituting the existing list name with the new one on every record. Then you'll need to edit the two records that specify the short and long list names and that should do it (my Dada Mail Joomla component does this automatically).
