Shall I turn moderation on?

September 12th 2008 UTC

Given the bits of spam on the list, would people like me to turn moderation on? The problem with the moderation system is that it kinda sucks, so it may take a few minutes/hours for me to get to the message to moderate. It would be wonderful to have a feature that sends a few, "can you moderate?" messages to random subscribers, so the list can moderate itself. Anyone want to commission a feature like that? ...Continue Reading

Didn't work but then the directions are a bit unclear. "In the mail.cgi file, put this after the shebang (this is the first line) line:" So.... #!/usr/bin/perl -T (does it go here?) use strict; (or does it go here?) # try this, if you can -> #!/usr/bin/perl -wT Of course I tried it in both places and neither worked. SOAP Web Services for Dada Mail

September 11th 2008 UTC

I've put together a Proof of Concept (and extremely simple) SOAP server written in Perl and a SOAP client in both Perl and php to interact with the SOAP server that interact with a method of the Dada Mail API. I know there is some interest in getting Dada Mail talking to programs outside of itself, written in other languages other than Perl and even with things outside of where the copy of Dada Mail is installed. Well, that's done with something like SOAP. Below is the README file of the distro, which you ...Continue Reading
