Similar problem. Reloading is the term I should use per your description below. But the screen that comes up says it is restarting. A blast (to 19000+) starts sending and gets about a third of the way through and then gets slower and slower. I watch it on the 'monitor your mailing' screen. Then the number sent doesn't change between the 10 sec refresh time, or just a few. Then that screen shows a message that says something like mailing will restart in 60 seconds. After 60 seconds sometimes it just starts ...Continue Reading

Hi Justin, The screens all refer to "restarting", but the entries in the errors.txt file refer to "reloading". From your definitions, I would say it is reloading because the emails do eventually send sequentially. It appears to send one email, then I get a message saying "Mailing automatically restarting in 49 seconds." and that counts down to 0 and then the next email is sent. This keeps repeating for each email. Occasionally I get a completely blank screen that just says "r ...Continue Reading

Hi Justin, I have been trying for the last week to figure out why my lists keep restarting but have run out of ideas. The errors.txt file contains the following lines: [Thu Oct 23 14:00:07 2008] mail.cgi: Use of uninitialized value in string ne at /DADA/App/MassSend.pm line 1286. [Thu Oct 23 14:00:28 2008] mail.cgi: Use of uninitialized value in numeric ne (!=) at /DADA/App/MassSend.pm line 369. Dada Mail 3.1.0 pre_snapshot-10_19_08 Released - Voilà!

October 19th 2008 PDT

Hello Everyone, Sorry about the test emails - I was testing out the new email header encoding features of Dada Mail. As been brought to my attention by a lot of people, Dada Mail does not support mime encoded words. Here's a background of the what the heck that is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIME#Encoded-Word So, I've been working hard on getting that in. It took a long while for me to wrap my head around the problem. The big difficulty is with Dada Mail's complexity: not only do we have to send out m ...Continue Reading
