Hi Justin We're early adopters here so according to the code it's the first version of 3.0 :-) $VERSION = 3.0.0; $VER = '3.0.0'; Can we just upgrade the Guts part or do you recommend a whole upgrade (and to which version???) :-) Alex On 01/19/2009 07:45 PM, Justin J wrote: > > On Jan 19, 2009, at 12:29 PM, Alex Judd wrote: >> We are hitting some problems with the SQL backend on the new Dada 3 >> that it >> is maxing out our max_user_connections setting in mySQL as it appears to >& ...Continue Reading

Huh - what version of Dada Mail specifically is this? The newest version should always reuse the SQL connection, except when mass mailing, where it has to make one (1) more. Here's what Dada Mail uses to cache co ...Continue Reading

Hi Justin (and everyone else) We are hitting some problems with the SQL backend on the new Dada 3 that it is maxing out our max_user_connections setting in mySQL as it appears to spawn child processes that don't reuse the DB connection that is created. The error we are getting is [Mon Jan 19 05:13:41 2009] [error] [client xx.xx.xx.xx] Premature end of script headers: /somethihg/dada3/mail.cgi [Mon Jan 19 05:14:21 2009] mail.cgi: DBI->connect(dbname=our_name;host=localhost;port=3306) failed: User us@localhost has ...Continue Reading

Hi,Is there a way to format the [DATE] tag for email templates? I'd like newsletters to show something more like "January 18, 2009" instead of the current "Sun Jan 18 09:25:01 2009" style. Also, the documentation for email templates has a "non-exhaustive" list of template tags. Where is the exhaustive list? Thanks. --CheersKenskype: thekenshowPeople are impressed with celebrity and they're impressed with explosions. So if you're just a guy standing in a room playing a guitar, it' ...Continue Reading

Hello everyone, I've sort of kept my mouth shut about the new features and updates on them - well, here we go: I'm currently just cleaning up the codebase, to put in the actual features. I'm started with the user-editable subscription fields feature and you can check out and read along (and kept track, really) my progress on that branch: http://github.com/justingit/dada-mail/commits/feature-subscriber_editable_fields The current plan is to rip the current API into a few, smaller things: an object to repres ...Continue Reading
