Alright, there is a secondary - perhaps bigger bug and it's how lists are seen as existing. Here's the approx. SQL: SELECT DISTINCT list from dada_settings WHERE list != ""; So, if there's some undeleted list setting that happens to be around, it'll think there's a valid list, when there's really not. That could be an easy fix, if I do it right ;) Justin J: Lead Dadaist.url: http://dadamailproject.com email: justin@PROTECTED twitter: @dadamail skype: leaddadaist Dada Mail Announcements:http://dadamailprojec ...Continue Reading

From: spilkert@PROTECTED I am not seeing the mountain of errors referencing that list by removing the two matching lines in the table you mentioned it also has resolved the issue where it was showing the deleted list in the dropdown menu on Admin and the switch menu. For reference, it seems that doing a list delete doesn’t purge the following settings which causes the previous issues. I'll have to do some tests - all the records in dada_settings should be removed during a deletion (and I bet they are), since I think i ...Continue Reading

I have noticed a number of errors referencing a list that was requested deleted several weeks back in the errors.txt file (/usr/share/httpd/dada/.dada_files/.logs/errors.txt) I would just remove any reference to this listshortname in the dada_settings table. The other issue we have is that it still shows up in the list of lists for Admin login. In the normal format of LongName (Shortname) this list only shows up as (ENGLISH) like the longname is null. I also get this error message continuously if I attempt (or anyone else attempts) to log into the deleted list: This is a huge problem for us. Tyler, this is pretty weird. Having the requests all come at once makes me think it may be something tied to the outgoing mail server that's doing the link checking, rather than any of the separate email clients of your subscribers. Even so, the unsubscription requests should never be taken (and my theory is true) unless whatever system you have is breaking the RFC. I think though, the easiest thing to do is to just not have the, List-Unsubscribe header be written in the email headers. An option to disable that header ...Continue Reading

I know there was a bugfix around the 11.3.0 release that addressed some sort of automatic link-following behavior in clients but I am wondering if such an issue might still exist or if anyone else has seen behavior similar to this. Hi there, We had an incident this morning which fifty users suddenly sent unsubscribe requests from a list of about 800. Im being asked to investigate as it is unlikely they all sent requests at the same time. Looking into the error log I see a lot of entries around the same time in the form of: NOOOOPE. at DADA/App/Dispatch.pm line 411, <CONFIG> line 1. at, DADA::App::Subscriptions::token at DADA/App/Subscriptions.pm line 74, <CONFIG> line 1. token exists at DADA/App/Subscriptions.pm line 92, ...Continue Reading
