Hi Justin, I have installed Dada Mail version 3.0.3 Stable. First, I added some subscribers from the admin panel by using this format as shown in the admin panel: Email Address, voornaam, achternaam Please notice the spaces after the comma's. Then I added some email addresses by using this format: Email Address, voornaam, achternaam So without the spaces. This is the result in Outlook Express when I send the subscriber list to the owner: (I have corrupted the email ad ...Continue Reading

A couple of questions on this. I followed the link below and looked at some sample code used to duplicate lists. 1) Is the code in this link compatible with vers 3.03? 2) Where is it installed? What file, where? I need to create a separate list for each State or major metro area on my site, a total of more than 70 at this time. I don't have the time or patience to build them one at a time. I looked at the "dada_settings" table in phpMyAdmin and am also wondering if I can create them more simply usin ...Continue Reading

Hey everyone, The newest stable release of Dada Mail is out (3.0.3) and the newest unstable release is out (3.1.0 Alpha 1) 3.1.0 Alpha 1 has the subscriber-editable fields enabled. Hello Everyone, I'm just about set to release a version of Dada Mail with the new Profiles feature enabled - I already have it running up at: http://dadamailproject.com/cgi-bin/dada/mail.cgi You'll see a link at the top of the page that says, [Register/Log In] And that's what you'll want to click. No one has a profile, yet, so you'll need to register, and follow the authorization link in the email that's sent to you, but after that, you'll be able to log into your profile. Since I don't use Subscriber Fi ...Continue Reading

I also forgot to mention that the subscription forms in Dada Mail are now, "smart" enough to know that if you're logged in and if you are, it'll fill out your email address for you and not show you the subscriber fields (so you don't have to feel the need to fill those out, yet again). It's quite a nice little touch, ...Continue Reading

Hello everyone, I just pushed into git some really nice changes: * That, "One Outstanding Issue", that I wrote about last time has been figured out rather eloquently, so that show stopper is gone * I've implemented the feature of having the public archives only viewable if you're a subscriber to a list! Yay! * I've also implemented the idea of skipping the confirmation process if you already have a registered profile in Dada Mail! That should make subscriptions a little less annoying to make in mu ...Continue Reading
