Re: Dada message draft/saving

July 20th 2009 PDT

I've looked into this a bit as I'm in the same boat - FCK Editor and need a way to wire the Save button into DaDa. There is an FCK plug-in I found but I've had no time to pursue it: http://www.saulmade.nl/FCKeditor/FCKPlugins.php Also some instructions for a jQuery method: http://www.fckeditor.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=14461&p=37820Maybe we (and anyone else who would like this feature) could chip in and pay Justin to implement it?  --CheersKenskype: thekenshowIf only we'd stop trying to be happy we could ...Continue Reading

Only thing I can think of is the new feature/plugin (can't remember where I saw it) that allows scheduling of the mailing list to a later date, but I haven't tried it so am not sure if you are able to edit this after setting it. ...Continue Reading

I would give it a try. The only thing that holds Dada Mail back from working on a Windows-based server is the mass mailing part, where Dada Mail forks() a new process. This is the one thing that is too unix- centric to work on a Windows platform. The ...Continue Reading

I do all of my testing on Windows computers (although using Apache2.2) and then I move to Linux for production. If I could get Dada to run on Windows, I would definitely be able to test it out. Hey Justin.Great to hear!  Keep up the good work.I have one question.  If I subscribe a user manually (for someone who comes into my office and signs up), how will that person's profile password be defined?  Will it be sent to the user with some type of welcome message, or should the user just do "Forgot Password" or something like that to get a new one if they need access?
