Have you seen, http://dadamailproject.com/support/documentation-dada-3_0_4/dada_bounce_handler.pl.html The 4.0.0 release will also have a way for subscribers to update their email addresses (via the Profiles stuff). 3.x has this as well, using the, update_subscription.cgi extension, but I don't recommend using it. ...Continue Reading

Processing Bounces

Hello List,I would like to ask if anybody has successfully managed to handle email bounces in order to keep mailing list db's clean.It happens every now and then that some clients change emails without notifying, yet the db still keeps sending out emails to those domains which either dont exist any longer or to acounts which are disabled/overfilled/you name the issue of the day. I'd like to have something which simply removes bounced email recipients from the db.Has anybody done similar tasks on *nix platforms? if so, ...Continue Reading

Ha! Of course the DaDa developers list _/is/_ powered by DaDa so replaced all the tags I was discussing with links etc. J I have used the | symbol instead of the [[ or ]] bracket symbol now so hopefully the mail now makes sense! -          SNIP - Hi Justin and Developers An interesting conundrum.
