Nevermind - I just tried this. I think it will work fine for what I’m doing. From: maryann@PROTECTED Could you elaborate? I’m not able to picture how this would work. Would this mean making a stationary that uses Send from a URL, then just replacing the URL for each mailing? Basically. You can just select that option, and save it as a stationery, and that'll minimize the Send a Message box, and show the textbox for the send a url option. Give it a try. -- Justin J: Lead Dadaist.url: http://dadamailproject.com email: justin@PROTECTED twitter: @dadamail skype: leaddadaist Dada Mail Announcem ...Continue Reading

From: maryann@PROTECTED I always send from a URL and would really like that option to be what is automatically open when I load the Send a Message screen. Is there a setting I can change in the Dada files that would make that happen (especially since the Write/Paste box is large and requires scrolling to get to the next option)? You could make a stationery message with everything you would like as defaults, then make a draft off of that stationery. -- Justin J: Lead Dadaist.url: http://dadamailproject.com email: ju ...Continue Reading

Is there a setting I can change in the Dada files that would make that happen (especially since the Write/Paste box is large and requires scrolling to get to the next option)? It seems like in the past I found where that was specified and changed it but of course upgrading overwrote the changes. Normally I note things like that but I didn’t for this. Coffee is clutch. You speak truth. Headers of bounce messages are not saved (bounced messages are not saved). There is an option to forward bounced messages to the list owner in the plugin - does that work in lieu of using the forewarding scheme you have set up? Nah, because then they would all come to my inbox on my laptop mixed in with legitimate replies to the list owner, which I definitely don’t want. My setup has been working fine, so I’ll just stick with it. It doesn’t appear to be putting a strain on the ser ...Continue Reading

So I was wrong. This is not bounces from a new mailing, it’s new bounces from the original mailing where I set the list administration email incorrectly. Hopefully that did solve it. Hmm, OK, so you wrote this: I am monitoring the bounces emails by forwarding them to a different mailbox, and the emails I am getting at the list owner address are not going to the bounces email address where they can be parsed. Why would the bounce handler work correctly, and why wouldn't you be surprised to have sent all the bounced email messages to the list owner? Set the bounce email address as just a POP3 account - don't try to monitor it. Set the list admin to that same address. That's all you have to do. - ...Continue Reading
