Did you get an answer? You’ll need to “activate” the plugin in the DADA/Config.pm file or add it to the admin menu in your local config file.· Remove the comments (#) from lines 2256 to 2260 in the Config.pm file · Change the file permissions on plugins/dada_bridge.pl to 755· FWIW, Dada Bridge settings are in the Config.pm file around line #4644A ...Continue Reading

Hi everyone We're about to embark on some server tuning to try and improve our current 10,000 message per hour rate, and wondered if anyone else had tried some optimisations before we start? What we are thinking is: 1. Speed test FastCGI against mod_perl with Apache 2. Speed test Apache versus Lighttpd versus NGinx with FastCGI 3. Optimise Exim (email transport) by placing message queue into RAM and turning off/minimising logging 4. Compare speeds of Exim versus other MTAs such as Courier etc. 5. Increase Dada b ...Continue Reading

Hi Justin, That is very cool. I didn't see your name on the map. Will they add it so we can see how you're doing? Best of luck. Hello Everyone, This is the final heads-up that I will be gone until around July on the cross-country self-supported mountain bike race that I'm partly doing to raise money for a local org. here in Denver. I will be leaving for Banff, AB, Canada on Tuesday and I sincerely will not have any internet access where I'm going - which is in some places literally the middle of nowhere, so I will not be able to help out with anything. YOU will be able to follow me if you find this type of thing exciting starting Friday, here ...Continue Reading

I installed Dada on the site of a non-profit I am helping and installed the bridge plugin. I have it working, but for some reason it isn't listed under plugins. Any idea why that might be? I am having to manually type in the URL of the plugin in order to change options. I've been trying to grab copies of the bounced messages before the bounce handler deletes them. I've got AT&T (which includes sbglobal, bellsouth, pacbell, etc.) and comcast at the moment. Not sure if it helps that the text of the message almost always includes the word "blocked". AT&T: This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: haplessemail@PR ...Continue Reading

Cool, especially seeing bounces by domain. That would be a huge help because by the time I realize there might be a blacklist problem, I'm usually seeing mass unsubscribes by the bounce handler. If I knew ahead of time I could get ahead of the problem by going to the ISP's form to get off the blacklist. It's a constant battle, and one I don't really understand since the lists are all double opt-in (although the latest problem could be because I forgot to update my MX settings for IP addresses allowed to send mail from ...Continue Reading
