And if so, can it possibly spell check the subject line, too? I compose my HTML emails in Dreamweaver and use their spellcheck, but it doesn't catch subject line errors. Wow! Big response for the, "Welcome Message" idea. The big technical problem that to be overcome was to send a mass mailing to a temporary list of people and that actually wasn't too hard to do, so I'll implement the same functionality to other parts of the program. One thing I can thing of is the "Request For Moderation" message that goes out. All Mass Mailings use the batch settings, so this'll keep things from potentially going over any hourly quotas you may have. Another idea is, along with th ...Continue Reading

I like it! Just ran into this limitation recently. Get a list of emails from people to subscribe them, but then they don't get subscribed until they click on the invitation link. That's definitely a hassle when you need to put together a quit list of people who already said they wanted to be on it. -Joe On Thu, Aug 25, 2011 at 2:41 PM, lea-ann <lea-ann@PROTECTED> wrote: "Now, you can just get their "OK" in person, subscribe their address and along comes a, "welcome to the list!" message ...Continue Reading

Justin,Sounds great. I've been using Dada for years to power a list where people sign up on paper and then I email them a Welcome message by hand after I subscribe them to the list. I'd like to see that feature to send a Welcome email to the people I just subscribed. Hello All, I'm working on a few new features for Dada Mail: The first is to allow truly "Invite-Only" lists and true, "Closed" lists. First, the closed lists: Right now, you can "close" a list to people trying to subscribe themselves, but as someone on the boards pointed out, it's not super useful. You can still mass subscribe someone outright, but you cannot send a list invitation. Seems strange So, I'm playing with changing the behavior of a, "Closed List" to mean, &quo ...Continue Reading

See: > http://dadamailproject.com/cgi-bin/dada/mail.cgi/archive/dadadev/20060219171503/ This new one is a little different. That initial problem was that if you set the list owner email address and the list email address the same, you'll create an infinite loop. This *new* problem is that if you simply se ...Continue Reading
