New Dada Mail Projects

August 25th 2011 UTC

Hello All, I'm working on a few new features for Dada Mail: The first is to allow truly "Invite-Only" lists and true, "Closed" lists. First, the closed lists: Right now, you can "close" a list to people trying to subscribe themselves, but as someone on the boards pointed out, it's not super useful. You can still mass subscribe someone outright, but you cannot send a list invitation. Seems strange So, I'm playing with changing the behavior of a, "Closed List" to mean, &quo ...Continue Reading

That initial problem was that if you set the list owner email address and the list email address the same, you'll create an infinite loop. This *new* problem is that if you simply se ...Continue Reading

I didn't know there was such a thing. That will be a big help with this and also one of the installs you did for me (the one not on a dedicated server) because it is stalling as well and with scheduled mailings in the middle of the night I am not monitoring. Thanks for letting me know. I manually ran the script but it didn't work because it was clogged up in the sender. Once I opened the mailing monitor and refreshed the stalled mailing, everything started working again. Since it's a discussion list, I can't keep the mailing monitor running all the time like I could with a standard announce-only list. RE: Messages stalling in Bridge

August 18th 2011 UTC

Update - now that I have manually cleaned out the queue, the cron job seems to be working again so I am thinking that it was actually the script that was hung up, not that the cron job wasn't running. There were a couple of mailings with attachments, but they were well below the limit specified and were only going to 10 people on the smallest list. Ideas?  Warm regards, Mary Ann *From:* Mary Ann [mailto:maryann@PROTECTED] *Sent:* Sunday, August 14, 2011 8:32 AM*To:* Dada Mail Developers*Subject:* [dadadev ...Continue Reading
