I should mention that because each member of the sports team is added manually and don't have profiles, the " Only Allow Subscribers to View Archived Messages" option is not the best. Ideally, being able to feed the archived messages into our password protected members area would be best but in looking at the database, it doesn't look like that is a simple solution. I have archives that I would like to make available to a specific group of people (members of the sports team for which the list is installed) but I don't want public archives. I don't use profiles much, but it looks like it would help to put an link on the login form that links to an anchor on the "Forgot Your Password" form at the bottom. People don't see that when they try to login, and since directly below it is the "Create a Profile" form, people don't seem to realize the password reset option is down there. And if so, can it possibly spell check the subject line, too? I compose my HTML emails in Dreamweaver and use their spellcheck, but it doesn't catch subject line errors. Wow! Big response for the, "Welcome Message" idea. The big technical problem that to be overcome was to send a mass mailing to a temporary list of people and that actually wasn't too hard to do, so I'll implement the same functionality to other parts of the program. One thing I can thing of is the "Request For Moderation" message that goes out. All Mass Mailings use the batch settings, so this'll keep things from potentially going over any hourly quotas you may have. Another idea is, along with th ...Continue Reading

I like it! Just ran into this limitation recently. Get a list of emails from people to subscribe them, but then they don't get subscribed until they click on the invitation link. That's definitely a hassle when you need to put together a quit list of people who already said they wanted to be on it. -Joe On Thu, Aug 25, 2011 at 2:41 PM, lea-ann <lea-ann@PROTECTED> wrote: "Now, you can just get their "OK" in person, subscribe their address and along comes a, "welcome to the list!" message ...Continue Reading
