root password question

If I want to change the root password without using the plugin (because several people will have the root password to access all lists, but I don't want them to be able to change it), do I just change it in the config file? Warm regards, Mary Ann  Post: mailto:[list_settings.discussion_pop_email] Unsubscribe: https://dadamailproject.com/cgi-bin/dada/mail.cgi/u/dadadev/ List Information: [PROGRAM_URL]/list/[list_settings.list] Archive: [PROGRAM_URL]/archive/[list_settings.list] Developer ...Continue Reading

Not at all, http://dadamailproject.com/support/documentation-4_7_1/Config.pm.html#_mail_verp_separator Defaults to, "-" - you can add this to your .dada_config file: $MAIL_VERP_SEPARATOR = '+'; and I think that'll do whatcha like, $MAIL_VERP_SEPARATOR ||= '-'; On Sep 15, 2011, at 1:19 PM, Mariano Absatz - gmail wrote: > Hi Justin, > > ...Continue Reading

VERP using '+' instead of '-'?

September 15th 2011 UTC

Hi Justin, would it be much complicated to be able to choose the separation character when using VERP?I have a return address of xxx@PROTECTED. Right now, dada generates originating addresses of the form xxx-youraddress=yourdomain.net@PROTECTED.In order for this to work I have to set up a 'catch-all' address for my whole domain. However, if instead of a '-' the address has a '+', postfix understands it as a specific folder for the address xxx. That is, I create the user xxx@PROTECTED and if a bounce is sent to xxx+youra ...Continue Reading

addendum

September 10th 2011 UTC

I should mention that because each member of the sports team is added manually and don't have profiles, the " Only Allow Subscribers to View Archived Messages" option is not the best. Ideally, being able to feed the archived messages into our password protected members area would be best but in looking at the database, it doesn't look like that is a simple solution. Warm regards, Mary Ann  Post: mailto:[list_settings.discussion_pop_email] Unsubscribe: https://dadamailproject.com/cgi-bin/dad ...Continue Reading

Password protected archives?
