Mailman does.LISTSERV also strips them out (which I do find VERY annoying too.)Which others keep it in? It might make sense to look at any available sources to see how they do it. Yahoo groups and google groups both keep them in. But the messages they send are not personalized, so the below wouldn't be an issue. I am not sure how other lists do it, but here is why I think Dada does not: (It is easiest to describe by example.)You have a list with 500 subscribers and each message that goes out is personal ...Continue Reading

I've added this to github but thought I'd bring it up here in case I am just missing something. If a person on the list sends mail to the list with a CC, Dada strips it out. All of the major discussion list platforms leave this information in the email. Example: I send an email to our sports team list about the team photography and CC the photographer (who is not on the list). I should be able to have the list members hit "Reply All" so that their email goes to the team and the photographer, bu ...Continue Reading

Hey everyone, I'm working on putting a little more flexibility in the types of dates you can put in your email templates. Currently, you only have one (undocumented) choice: which isn't very useful. I've added a whole slew of new ones, included support for, "strftime", which should allow you to print whatever you'd like. You can see my progress at: https://github.com/justingit/dada-mail/tree/features-date_tags I don't have any tests written up, yet. Below is the current addition to the email syntax ...Continue Reading

Hi Development List We have a weird scenario repeatedly happening where one of our list files keeps getting corrupted, and a large number of linefeeds removed at the same time. The list is CLOSED to subscribers (unless through the admin panel) so we can't imagine that it is being caused by a rogue subscriber trying to subscribe with dangerous/escape characters in their email address, and can't really think where else the problem might be happening, but obviously it's pretty annoying as we have to keep restoring ...Continue Reading
