Another Tour, Another Notice of Absence August 1 - 12th

July 22nd 2012 PDT

Hey everyone, This is a quick note, that I will be out of town from August 1st to the 12th, this time touring with the Itchy-O project I'm a part of. We'll be on the West Coast - a ton of shows in the Bay area, a ton near LA, if you can swing by to one of our shows, well, that would be cool. Please bring ear protection. http://www.reverbnation.com/itchyo I will have fairly decent coverage and internet access this time and will be checking into everything as much as I can. - so long as the replacement phone isn't ...Continue Reading

auto_pickup.pl

July 20th 2012 PDT

Hi Justin,I just upgraded from dada 4.9 to 5.1.1. Everything went smooth. However, I have a question. Where did auto_pickup.pl go? In http://dadamailproject.com/pro_dada/index.cgi?rm=manual&ver=5.1.0&page=sending_monitor.html#automatic_mail_monitoring it says  For this reason, you may want to use the outside mailing monitor extenion, called, auto_pickup.pl. For more information, see: http://dadamailproject.com/support/documentation/auto_pickup.pl.html However, http://dadamailproject.com/suppor ...Continue Reading

If anyone is interested, please email me off-list, I'd like to keep this list help with Dada Mail. But, ask yourself, how much is it worth it to get a project like that started? I've been very busy as of late on Dada Mail-related stuff, so I don't know if I'm going to get to this type of project on my own, without being commissioned to do so, ...Continue Reading

Somehow I thought that would be the response. :PHow much do you think it would take to get this project going? Anyone else interested in sponsoring it with me?Auto-responders are great for following up with opt-in leads and it would be a wonderful addition to Dada. Thought? Sure? Work? No. You all are keeping me very busy simply with installs and supporting those installs :) I'd probably need to get commissioned by a Dada Mail user to take on such a large project, which is the model I'm pushing. ...Continue Reading

auto-responder

July 13th 2012 PDT

Hi Justin,I noticed in August that you wrote:"And perhaps I'll work on an experimental plugin to explore more auto-responder-ish features in Dada Mail (Unlike the Beatitude plugin, which doesn't allow you to have a series of messages, where individual subscribers will receive messages at their own schedule). Now that sending to a temporary list can be done (easily), well, that's a big hurtle already passed. All that's left is to figure out the "what subscriber gets what message when" stuff. Re: beatitude scheduled time problems

For me, having a 24 hour clock would be great. Argentina (and a lot of other countries) is used to a 24 hour clock (and most of the people have a hard time guessing if 12:00AM is either noon or midnight) :) On Mon, Mar 12, 2012 at 9:10 PM, Justin J <justin@PROTECTED> wrote: On Mar 12, 2012, at 5:15 PM, Justin J wrote: > Anyways, I can recreate your problem - it probably has to do with this method in dada/DADA/MailingList/Schedules.pm.
