scheduled mailing from URL error

August 30th 2012 UTC

Hi,I have had a mailing set up for years that has suddenly gone haywire. It is a scheduled mailing from a URL. The URL parses the php in the file code to update the content daily. Today, the email I received had only this as the content:This is a multi-part message in MIME format...------------=_1346313602-30933-0--________________When I view the message source, the headers are all there and the source stops at the above as well. If I test the email by manually pasting in the source code from the URL, it sends fine. Us ...Continue Reading

KCFinder Fixes

I'm looking at some problems with the KCFinder not well, working at all, when used in Dada Mail. KCFinder is what should allow you to browse files on your server, and upload images to be included in HTML email messages. It's really cool, slick and it's free - which CKFinder is not. KCFinder uses sessioning to control who's allowed to upload files/images (as well as browse your server), instead of, well, NO security that FCKeditor "affords". That was the big reasoning for me to move away from FCKeditor and wor ...Continue Reading

authorized senders and moderation

August 7th 2012 UTC

I've never encountered this before, but one of my authorized senders sent the same exact message to 2 lists (he is an authorized sender on both). One list put the message through to the list correctly, the other held it for moderation. The ONLY difference I can see in the address on the list where it was held (compared the the email from which it was sent) is that he has capital letters in his email address in the message, but the email address in Dada is all lowercase. Surely that wouldn't cause it to be held for ...Continue Reading
