Hello Everything, Finally! A dev. release of v6 of Dada Mail! Github says that there are: 353 changed files with 18,740 additions and 16,697 deletions. So. A lot's changed. I think the code is production-ready, but it's a little brash to release something like this, without some real world testing (*cough*) Here's the direct link to download: https://github.com/downloads/justingit/dada-mail/dada-6_0_0-alpha1.tar.gz uncompress_dada.cgi script, https://raw.github.com/justingit/dada-mail/v6_0_0-alpha1_2012_11_09/ ...Continue Reading

Hi Justin, I was not wanting to upgrade to the latest version of DadaMail just yet, but I need the KCFinder upload ability. If I need to run the installer, I guess I will bite the bullet and make the jump. Two questions: 1) Is it possible to install the newest version and test it out concurrently before committing my current installation? 2) What directories do I need to backup to preserve my current installation so no matter what I do, I can revert back to my current install? - just \cgi-bin\dada\, \fkceditor\, ...Continue Reading

There's a lot going on to integrate everything and it's far easier to let the installer do it. But basically, I'm following what's put on the KCFinder site: http://kcfinder.sunhater.com/docs/integrate It'll c ...Continue Reading

I want to enable the ability to upload pictures into an email. The documentation mentions that you need to install kceditor, but the instructions are very cryptic. To enable it, you should set 'disabled' => false in \kcfinder\config.php, but it is recommended by the DadaMail documentation that you not do that. There is also a reference to change the variable $FILE_BROWSER_OPTIONS, but it doesn't say where that variable is, and I can find it anywhere. Is there some clear documenation as to how one can enabl ...Continue Reading

Okay, thanks. I wasn't sure how it worked on the backend and if it needed different functionality written into the app. Looking forward to testing that in the new version. Sounds good! Probably you already know, but DirectAdmin control panel has this feature already present for a long time, see http://www.site-helper.com/email.html#forwarders /You can also use forwarer to pipe emails to a script, eg:forwardername -> "|/usr/local/bin/php /home/user/path/to/your/script.php" / 2012/11/6 Justin J <justin@PROTECTED> Hello Everyone, Sorry for the test emails.
