Justin, you correctly suspected the browser was the problem when editing a member's profile fields I was (sadly) using MS IE8 which is the latest version for Windows XP. On my XP machine, I just tried Firefox and Chrome and they work fine, but MS IE8 fails. I also tried MS IE9 on Windows 7 and it works fine. So the behavior seems to only fail when using MS IE8 which has apparently been abandoned by Microsoft, but it is still the most used browser. 63% of hits on my website are MS IE. I have been testing 6.0.1 this last week and it is "Great!" as Justin likes to say. I wish I had done it sooner.
