Doesn't seem that there is, but you can try creating something. In the dada/DADA/Mail/Send.pm file, there's a method called, "_mail_merge". Here's the part that deals with tempting out the message: my $entity = $args->{-fm_obj}->email_template( { -entity => $orig_entity, ...Continue Reading

6.0.1 Membership / View / Edit

January 27th 2013 PST

In 6.0.1, I am also unable to edit an existing member's profile fields. In Membership / View I click on the email address I want to edit, scroll down to the profile fields and make my changes. When I click on "Edit Information" (which really should say "Save Information" to be consistent) a message appears at the very bottom of the page saying: Problems with Address Update: Mailing List: Bulletin Email List a.. 6.0.1 Message Archive Suggestion

6.0.1 Testing

January 26th 2013 PST

I have been testing 6.0.1 this last week and it is "Great!" as Justin likes to say. I wish I had done it sooner. I haven't found any major issues, but here are a couple cosmetic, very minor issues just to remain consistent across all options. When you select an option from the left menu, the menu selection and sub-selection are listed is a rose-colored header at the top of the page. These three headers below are slightly different from the wording of the actual menu options: "Mail Sending / Option ...Continue Reading

Is there a tag that can be used (or created) to put the email subject in with the body text? I would like to do something like the following for the HTML Message template:   <p><font face="Arial" size="4">Subject: <!-- tmpl_var message_subject --></font></p>[message_body]   but there is no such tag that I have seen.   Carl Post: mailto:dadadev@PROTECTED Unsubscribe » ...Continue Reading

Dada Mail v6 Stable has been released

January 9th 2013 PST

Hello Everyone, Last week (or so) I released the stable version of Dada Mail - huzzah! Install/Download links can be found at: http://dadamailproject.com/support/documentation-6_0_1/install_dada_mail.pod.html Upgrading from v5 is pretty straightforward if you used the included installer - the v6 installer will hopefully grab the previous config information for you.
