Should def. be there, right in the installer, no changes like that have happened between v6.0.1 and v6.0.2. When I installed 6.0.1, I remember seeing a list of plugins that could be installed. I now want to add Dada Bridge but when I used 6.0.2 to upgrade, I don't recall seeing the list of plugins. I found some documentation online about installing it manually, but the file dada_bridge.pl doesn't exist in the plugins directory. What is the proper way to install Dada Bridge for setting up a discussion list? Carl ...Continue Reading

Re: 6.0.1 Membership / View / Edit

Justin, you correctly suspected the browser was the problem when editing a member's profile fields I was (sadly) using MS IE8 which is the latest version for Windows XP. On my XP machine, I just tried Firefox and Chrome and they work fine, but MS IE8 fails. I also tried MS IE9 on Windows 7 and it works fine. So the behavior seems to only fail when using MS IE8 which has apparently been abandoned by Microsoft, but it is still the most used browser. 63% of hits on my website are MS IE. Doesn't seem that there is, but you can try creating something. In the dada/DADA/Mail/Send.pm file, there's a method called, "_mail_merge". Here's the part that deals with tempting out the message: my $entity = $args->{-fm_obj}->email_template( { -entity => $orig_entity, ...Continue Reading

6.0.1 Membership / View / Edit

January 27th 2013 PDT

In 6.0.1, I am also unable to edit an existing member's profile fields. In Membership / View I click on the email address I want to edit, scroll down to the profile fields and make my changes. When I click on "Edit Information" (which really should say "Save Information" to be consistent) a message appears at the very bottom of the page saying: Problems with Address Update: Mailing List: Bulletin Email List a.. Subscribers a.. Already Subscribed Carl ...Continue Reading

6.0.1 Message Archive Suggestion

6.0.1 Testing

January 26th 2013 PDT

I have been testing 6.0.1 this last week and it is "Great!" as Justin likes to say. I wish I had done it sooner. I haven't found any major issues, but here are a couple cosmetic, very minor issues just to remain consistent across all options. When you select an option from the left menu, the menu selection and sub-selection are listed is a rose-colored header at the top of the page. These three headers below are slightly different from the wording of the actual menu options: "Mail Sending / Option ...Continue Reading
