Hmmm... I looked back and found that conversation in 2009 in the archives, but I don't think it's the problem with the footer is the same issue (although I do think you are right that it's the quoted-printable format). The footer line breaks was more that plain text understands what line breaks mean and HTML doesn't because the breaks have to be coded in the HTML.  That wikipedia page tells me why I get random equal signs in the source code of some emails I am trying to copy. I wonder if this has something to do with Dada's Quoted-Printable formatting.  For a while, certain links in the message footer were broken in a similar fashion (I can't seem to find the old email that described the issue though). Suggestion: In the Membership / View screen you can click on an email address if you want to change someone's email address. After entering the new address and clicking on "Verify" a message pops up saying "Update subscription of ___ to ___". It took me several tries before I realized that it isn't a confirmation message that appears, but the message is actually a button and you must click on the message to complete the process. Sorry about the spam complaint, it was supposed to go to the in-house mail admins. I started to fill in the To field and Gmail showed me the drop-down list of possible addresses. As happened the other day and with another list, the address I selected wasn't the one Gmail thought I wanted (how Microsoft!), so it chose a different one.
