I'm a little lost on how to approach the initial issue you're reporting. I need to figure out a way to recreate the bug. ...Continue Reading

When I changed it from double quotes it fixed the line break in some cases, but it broke the link tracking. Even without link tracking it still happened in some cases. I run Tracker by default so I assumed that was the problem, but it must be an issue with Dada in general.____________________ ...Continue Reading

Hmmm... I looked back and found that conversation in 2009 in the archives, but I don't think it's the problem with the footer is the same issue (although I do think you are right that it's the quoted-printable format). The footer line breaks was more that plain text understands what line breaks mean and HTML doesn't because the breaks have to be coded in the HTML. That wikipedia page tells me why I get random equal signs in the source code of some emails I am trying to copy. For some reason my Mac mail won't allo ...Continue Reading

I wonder if this has something to do with Dada's Quoted-Printable formatting. For a while, certain links in the message footer were broken in a similar fashion (I can't seem to find the old email that described the issue though). For some time I've had to play with the input to Dada HTML mailings due to Tracker breaking random links. There is nothing unusual about the formatting of the broken links, so I can't figure out why they break. Sometimes removing the quotes from the href URL helps, sometimes not. Sometimes changing from double quotes to single quotes helps, sometimes not. It seems to be inserting a line break where there isn't one. Sometimes it comes through with half the link (the original link without the tracking) on a separate ...Continue Reading

Suggestion: In the Membership / View screen you can click on an email address if you want to change someone's email address. After entering the new address and clicking on "Verify" a message pops up saying "Update subscription of ___ to ___". It took me several tries before I realized that it isn't a confirmation message that appears, but the message is actually a button and you must click on the message to complete the process. It would be clearer to show the "old address" and the ...Continue Reading

I quickly discarded them so I don't remember the details, but if I get more I'll forward them to you with the headers exposed.John Justin J wrote:On Feb 28, 2013, at 7:43 AM, John Collins wrote: I, too, have received spam purported to be from the Dada list over the last week or two.
