As I rarely use the Send a Message feature (Dada's big appeal for me is Scheduled Mailings and Bridge), work on the profile fields would be more useful. What would be really helpful for people running multiple mailing lists would be the ability to not just change an email address across all lists through the profile interface, but to be able to delete or add an address across multiple lists at once. Hello Justin, I vote for #1 (I now use the scheduled mailing as a workaround, but saving as a draft is better). PS: Some suggestions/ideas on the draft: - Use archived mailing as a draft for new mailing - Use a draft as starter for a scheduled mailing - Use a draft in more then 1 mailinglist (example: custumor of us, has 8 lists in different languages. We make a starter in 1 language and copy/past to other lists, and then edit the language) - Save more then 1 draft (they may be used as templates for new mailings) ...Continue Reading

I'm in a good spot to work on a Big Feature in Dada Mail: I'd like to get an informal opinion on what to work on first. The choices are: * Save as Draft for the, "Send a Message/Send a Webpage" screens, - or - * Features pertaining to the Profile Fields: Required Fields, different form widgets, better search capabilities (save a search result/dynamic sublists), etc. My guess is #1 would be more killer for more people - I get asked how to save a draft quite a bit ;) What's your pick? ...Continue Reading

I switched to this when you recommended it and it has been wonderful. The site that is using Bridge is on a shared server and this completely eliminated the delay caused by limits to cron job frequency set by the host. It was really easy to set up using your instructions on the site. Download and Install: http://dadamailproject.com/support/documentation-6_5_2/install_dada_mail.pod.html Changelog: This release aims to fix a definate problem when sending mass mailings: there seems to be a large pause between submitting a mass mailing (say, from the "Send a Message"screen), and when the mass mailing actually starts up fully, to get sent. This pause stems from Dada Mail's new confirmation token system, which it seems we're still breaking in and tuning up to be perfect. All confirmation ...Continue Reading

Hello Everyone, v6.5.1 of DM has been released: Download/Install http://dadamailproject.com/support/documentation-6_5_1/install_dada_mail.pod.html Changelog: http://dadamailproject.com/support/documentation-6_5_1/changes_6_x.pod.html#summary_6_5_1 I didn't get much feedback from the JS changes in re: to Internet Explorer - it's workin' for me, is it workin' for you? If not, any JS errors would be appreciated. the changes I made were small - basically just fixing this (brain-dead) problem: http://stackoverflow ...Continue Reading

It seems like there's some major problems with using Dada Mail w/Internet Explorer - specifically the JavaScript used (not even touching on any layout/css problems - ugh). I've started some work on this, here's the issue: https://github.com/justingit/dada-mail/issues/391 I could really use some feedback. There's currently one commit with a revised dada_mail.js file, that's a drop-in replacement for what comes w/v6.5.0 of Dada Mail. The changes are minimal - just removal of commas in certain places (*really*) that f ...Continue Reading

Hello everyone, This is just a note I'm back from racing - everything went well, and I finished just fine. I'm very tired, and my fingers aren't at 100% - lots of pain and numbness (not to mention a little mental fog, from so much sleep dep.), so it'll still take me a few days to ramp up to full Dada Mail time, ...Continue Reading
