Not sure if this is relevant. I wrote an application that medical resident use to keep notes on their patients. They wanted a similar thing. What I did was use a jquery autosave library to take the form, asynchronously post it to a backend routine which serializes the data into a kind of draft object and stores it in the db with the patient identifier. Then, if they get disconnected, or just leave the form, and don't save it, the next time they access the edit screen for that patient, the first thing the app does is ...Continue Reading
