Bounce Handler problem - Return-path: <>

September 5th 2013 UTC

Having just upgraded to Dada Mail 6.6.0, I was wondering if a problem I have been having with “Return-path: <>” that apparently causes Bounce Handler to prematurely delete bounce notifications had disappeared.  Unfortunately, not. This was my test procedure: - add a known-to-be non-existent email address at a partner agency to my mailing list - send a test message using “Partial Mail List Sending” where Email Address >> Is like >> moreinfo@PROTECTED by clicking Send Mass Mailing - email bounces ...Continue Reading

RESTful API/Ajax Subsription Form Example

September 4th 2013 UTC

Included with the v6.6.0 release is a, "new" experimental RESTful API - it's VERY simple, but I think it may come in handy. The docs for it, are here, http://dadamailproject.com/d/COOKBOOK-subscriptions.pod.html#restful_api along with example scripts - I would LOVE it if anyone could whip another client example up in: * Ruby * PHP * Python * (whatever) to complement the JavaScript/jQuery and Perl examples. Dada Mail also has its own demo of it, that you can check out on your own Dada Mail, as wel ...Continue Reading

The archive summary now looks a lot more interesting. Thanks. I don't know about others, but my newsletter usually has 4 or 5 topic headings. What it now shows is the first few lines of the body of the newsletter - a lot better than I had it! What would be really useful (and more aesthetically pleasing) would be a way for the archive summary page to display someth ...Continue Reading
