Tyler, this is pretty weird. Having the requests all come at once makes me think it may be something tied to the outgoing mail server that's doing the link checking, rather than any of the separate email clients of your subscribers. Even so, the unsubscription requests should never be taken (and my theory is true) unless whatever system you have is breaking the RFC.

I think though, the easiest thing to do is to just not have the, List-Unsubscribe header be written in the email headers. An option to disable that header can be found in the list control panel under,

I know there was a bugfix around the 11.3.0 release that addressed some sort of automatic link-following behavior in clients but I am wondering if such an issue might still exist or if anyone else has seen behavior similar to this.
