That's actually not the case at all Support in mail readers to render HTML correctly is spotty at best, and seems to be different for all mail readers around, especially Outlook That's why there's a need for an entirely separate build and authoring system just to design a simple HTML-formatted email message that will look pretty similar when being viewed in them all
So it's not the HTML support that's gotten better in mail readers, it's the authoring support to create HTML that will work with these broken mail readers that's gotten so much better Glad someone's worked on that (Foundation), since I had no interest in doing it!
Personally I'm not interested in a "quick and dirty" beta solution though,
Naw, I'm not proposing "quick and dirty", I'm proposing, "simple, and conservative" Before we get super-fancy templates in there, let's see what simple templates do, and what my users want after that
I'd rather it was trialled and tested before being officially released I haven't got time to go through a 12-step upgrade process on multiple sites only to have to re-do it all the next day, as has happened often in the past
I'm sorry you've had that experience I could really use some help with the, "trialled and tested" part of this I do release beta versions of the app, and announce them on this list, with the hopes of getting feedback, before a stable release I only release when ready, but I'm only aware of problems I'm personally seen
You yourself (Phil) have been very helpful when it comes to telling me about issues and voicing your concerns about problems of the app, and I thank you
