Re: Dada Mail v7.0.0 beta1 Released
Since I was moving to a newer Mac G5 as a server (running OSX 10.7 and the latest version of MySQL, 5.6.16), and since this beta version has the private list feature that I have been quite interested in, I went ahead and installed it instead of just moving/installing the 6.8.1 production version. So far, most things have been working fine, just as with the ver. 6 on the old server. However, I do have some questions about some features -- such as the unsubscribe process. I've received a couple of messages from a closed list (as advertised as a new feature) requesting removal from the list. The email has two coded links, one to approve the unsubscribe request and one to deny it. OK so far. When I click on a link, I get a screen that says "Almost Done! Please click the button below to complete your confirmation:" with a big green button. So far, I've not clicked the button because I don't know what will happen, what message might be sent, or where I will end up. If I could get an idea of what and where any message might be found and if there is any way to customize it, that would be helpful.
