Re: More, "Save as Draft" Teasers

Hey Justin,

This looks really good.  I'm looking forward to seeing it when it's done.  (Unfortunately, I don't have time to test the drafts feature out right now, but I hope to be doing an install for a client in the next month or so, and will test it out then.)

On a mostly unrelated note, I just wanted to let you know that many email programs (primarily Windows-based; I didn't have time to do an exhaustive test) do not display the screenshots that you have included in your last few messages.  I don't know if this is because of some quirk in the way they were attached (some Apple Mail quirk - I see you use it from the message headers), in the way Dada handles attachments, or in the file type.  Maybe you can send your next screenshot as a PNG (or something else) instead of a TIFF so we can see if that displays properly.

Thanks, and keep up the great work. Stay safe out there.

Moshe

Here's some more work on the, "Save as Draft" feature. Y'all are lucky it's been raining like you wouldn't believe here in Denver, and everything is like, underwater - especially bicycle paths! (and keeping me indoors, plugging along)

See the attached screenshot for the new "Always on top" button bar that allows you to, Save a Draft, Cancel the Message, Send a Test Message, or Send out a Mass Mailing. Below that on the right, you'll see when a Draft has been last saved (auto saving is working). And on the left hand menu, there' a new link to see all your Draft messages (labeled: Drafts). Neat stuff. This all works for the, "Send a Webpage" screen, too. When you hit, "Send Test Message", it'll just refresh back to the screen you can work with the message, again, instead of the useless Mailing Monitor screen.

This hopefully should help make Dada Mail a lot more friendlier to work with -

I get a lot of, "so… how do I save a message while writing it?" question. Thankfully, I can answer that, now!
