Well, for your setup, they don't - the MUA is going to have be configured to use VERP - yours may not If that's the case, don't use VERP

I originally put in the VERP feature in, because we were being hosting with a host that used Qmail as the MTA, which does understand VERP (Qmail and Verp are the same author)
