Is there a reason you did that? Dada Mail should be able to create the needed rows, on a, "need to be created" basis. If there's no profile for the subscriber, no row in this table will really be needed.

Well, I also added a third field to track the origin of subscriptions and manually (i.e. using an SQL INSERT) filled this one with a string that indicates that the address got migrated from the old list.

This is the statement I run:

INSERT INTO `dada_profile_fields` (`email`,`subscription_source`)
  SELECT `email`,'old_list_migration' FROM dada_subscribers WHERE list_type = 'list';

and did what I wanted (I then run a couple of UPDATEs to change the NULL values into empty strings and then into one blank space strings.

Ah... another thing... for the tests I run, in order to verify how the messages would be sent, I used the 'partial mailing list sending' option and put a specific email address there (so only one message would be sent -to me- and not to the other 9K subscribers).

Maybe there were an awkward interaction with this feature...
