Couldn't the unsubscribe email be created before the record is removed? Then the subscription fields would still exist

Does the new release include the subscription fields in the unsubscribe email notification? Version 3 0 only shows the email address that is unsubscribing It would be nice if my Firstname & Lastname subscriber fields were included so I could know who unsubscribed
Right now in the code it looks like there's a check explicitly to see if the subscriber is subscribed (like there was, before), before it tries to pull up that profile information
If they're not subscribed, the logic is, there's nothing else to report, since pulling the subscriber information requires that the email address be subscribed If it's not, there's no information that can be found I don't think the new version changes this, really There's no API (yet) to pull up information from the profile itself - you can't really say:
In an email, and expect it to do what you want
There's a few email messages where it says things like,
But there's no API - it's all faked
I guess the workaround, would be to have some sort of, "unsubscribed" sublist, but I really don't want to go that direction
