I would like to ask if anybody has successfully managed to handle email bounces in order to keep mailing list db's clean.
It happens every now and then that some clients change emails without notifying, yet the db still keeps sending out emails to those domains which either dont exist any longer or to acounts which are disabled/overfilled/you name the issue of the day.
I'd like to have something which simply removes bounced email recipients from the db.
Has anybody done similar tasks on *nix platforms? if so, could you share some code?
Thanks in advance.
david
