At least from what I'm seeing, it looks like the comment in the html
is messing things up, perhaps?

The HTML seemed to be valid - at least it went through my lint test
(wanders off to make sure lint test is working
)
Regarding the fckeditor area the HTML pane just goes grey with no
sign of the interfaceI am going to compare the resulting files a bit later to see any
differences but I will have to change the beta 4 config cgi file to
do that
OK - if FCKeditor was working in 3, it should work in 4
It would be
strange that it didn't, but I wouldn't write off that I made a silly
change - especially since CKeditor support is a new feature - it could
have def
impacted FCKeditor support
