Re: Clickthrough tracker showing test emails

I'm not Justin, but here's what I do regarding this bit:

Also (a sneaky feature requets if there ever was one...) is there any easy way to support having multiple email addresses in the Test Email field on the Send Email page, so that rather than having to submit 5 tests to all relevant parties, we can just put them in and do in one go?

First, include a subscriber field called _purpose. Next, add all test accounts (various Web mail packages, Outlook, Mail, etc.) to the list with "test" in the _purpose field. When it comes time to verify a newsletter, use Partial Sending Options with subscriber._purpose like "test". Less typing for each test cycle and works a treat.

Hi Justin

With the new 3.0.x Dada it is possible to send test emails directly from the bottom of the Send Email page, which is excellent.

One tad annoying thing is that these test emails then show up in the Clickthrough Tracker, so you end up with x number of dated text campaigns (of the format YYYYMMDDHHMMSS) in between each real campaign which makes it hard to read the stats on successive campaigns.

Is there an easy way to filter these test campaigns out of the report, or to disable them from being shown as, for example, they don't show in the archives?

Last and least, one for general discussion.

Does anyone else think it might be nice to have a "Super Admin" account which can go in and monitor _all_ campaigns currently sending in one window?

At present I can monitor all campaigns within my list, but not across all lists in my server so if we are running different lists we have to logout, login, logout, login to view the different list progresses.

BTW the 3.0.2 database connections behave much more nicely than the 3.0.0 ones so would _strongly_ suggest anyone using 3.0.0 with any database to upgrade...
